Permanent mounting of this unit by means of four stainless steel bolts and stainless anchors ensures that this unit will remain where you put it. When the unit needs to fit under a diving board, please ensure you have 15-inch clearance to allow for operation. This unit also uses the AT-1 and AT-2 Rocky's 12-sided adjustable anodized tubing, and can be permanently bolted down on the deck or mounted to a wall.

4A Residential Permanent - Ends Only

The largest of the residential systems. The 5A, designed with larger residential pools in mind, will make removing the cover easy for you and, being portable, will allow you to remove it from poolside without any fuss. The 5A also uses the AT-1 and AT-2 Rocky's 12-sided adjustable anodized tubing.

The 5A makes retrieving the cover easier due to its large handles and 4" castors. The anchor bolts ensure that the system is held in place during operation. It can then be moved away from the pool once the cover is rolled up.

Designed for smaller commercial pools. The Junior has four-inch heavy duty hubs and a commercial grade handle. Six four-inch castors and a third leg make maneuvering easy. Uses Rocky's four-inch 12-sided Heavy-Duty Commercial anodized tubing.

COMMERCIAL 4-INCH TUBING

Rocky's four-inch anodized 12-sided Heavy-Duty tubing is available in sizes from 16-33 feet. Tubing is heavy weight aluminum construction for use with commercial pools. The Commercial Tubing is made up from standard lengths and are put together using a joiner system.

RESIDENTIAL 3-INCH TUBING

The AT-1 Adjustable tube set is for pools up to 20 feet wide. The AT-2 Adjustable tube set is for pools up to 24 feet wide.

1. The system was not set squarely to the pool, therefore the cover is pulling more on one side than the other. To remedy this, you will need to reset the system square to the pool.
2. Some of the strapping is tighter than others, this will cause uneven tension and creasing. Take the straps off at the tube and refasten them so that each one has the same tension.

1. When you installed the system you should have put waterproof grease in the black bushings. This needs to be done at least once a year to ensure ease of use.The bolts holding the handle and white knob have been over tightened. This will cause too much friction and make turning the handle difficult. Just ease the pressure off both bolts and this should help.
2. The cover is too heavy, it may be waterlogged. If you are using a cover that is not a 1/8" bubble cover check the tube guide table to make sure you have the correct model for the size of the cover.

1. The hole for the drop in anchor is too big. The right size is 1/2" round hole (1-1/2" deep). If the hole is more than 1/2" in diameter, you will need to drill another hole of the correct size and reset the others.This can be a problem when the drop in anchor has not been center punched. By doing this with a center punch (or large nail) it will force the legs out into the concrete. This will secure it into the concrete and it will not rotate.
2. You are over tightening the anchor bolts. You need only turn the bolt about two turns to engage the threads, this will be enough to hold the system while in use. To fix this use a center punch (or large nail) and reset the anchor in the same hole.

Firstly, any tubing will sag the longer it is extended, gravity tends to take its course.

1. Most sagging is the result of someone using the tube as a seat. Tubing is not designed to be sat on at any time, this is also a dangerous practice and can cause injury.Did you follow the instructions and bolt the tubes together? Or did you screw them together? If you screwed them together they will not have the same lateral integrity as bolting them together.Check the length of the tubing against the instruction sheet and ensure the tubing is not over extended. If you over extend the tubing sagging will occur.
2. Are you using a heavy cover? If so the weight may be causing the sagging. All Rocky's tube sizes are determined using a 1/8" bubble cover, so therefore any other type of cover may cause a problem.
