Corona Discharge Ozone Generators
Ozone can be produced commercially in much
the same way as nature - through the use
of a UV lamp or by an electrical Corona
Discharge (CD). The primary difference between
the two is ozone output. UV ozone technology
has typically been used for low concentration,
low output applications like residential
spas. CD, on the other hand, can deliver
high concentrations of ozone much more efficiently
than UV.
 These
ozone generators feature "plug and
play" operation, meaning they are easily
installed, and are also easy to maintain.

The Eclipse™ line consists of three
models: Eclipse-1, Eclipse-2 and Eclipse-4

Ozone
(O3), also known as active oxygen,
is a naturally occurring element. Just as
the ozone in the earth's atmosphere protects
us from the sun's harmful rays, ozone in
your pool protects you from known microorganisms,
including bacteria and viruses in the water.
Ozone
is just like the air we breathe, but with
an extra, unstable oxygen atom attached.
Because the additional atom is held on by
a very weak bond, the third oxygen atom
non-selectively oxidizes any microorganism
- including viruses, oils (suntan lotion;
body oils), solids, and other contaminants
in the water. What's more, ozone even neutralizes
the unwanted by-products cause by traditional
pool cleaners. |
