General Freight Shipping Information
Delivery times vary for items shipping by freight, you'll be notified by the freight carrier 1-2 days prior to delivery. An authorized signer (18 or older) must be present at time of delivery, and will be responsible for removing your item(s) from the freight truck.
Liftgate service can help get your item down from the truck, and is available for an additional charge (please call before or immediately after ordering if you'd like to add liftgate service to your freight order).
Refusal of delivery for any reason other than damaged merchandise is subject to shipping and restocking fees.
What should I do if my shipment is damaged?
Please compare your delivered items with the delivery bill, noting any differences in quantities or damages on the delivery bill BEFORE you sign. This will be required for filing a claim with the delivery company. Signing the delivery bill without noting all damaged and/or missing items implies that the shipment was delivered as expected, and neither poolsupplies.com or the shipping company can be held responsible for any lost or damaged items.
If there is a large amount of damage (large holes in boxes, contents spilling out, missing more than 10% of the boxes, etc.) please refuse delivery and contact us at 1-800-356-3025.
