Bromine Tablets for Pools & Hot Tubs

Whether it’s for your pool, your hot tub or both, we offer bromine tablets to sanitize your water. At PoolSupplies.com, we carry 1” tablets in a variety of quantities so you’ll never run out. If you’d like more information about bromine and its use for your pool or spa, visit our dedicated Buyer’s Guide and FAQ page.

Is Bromine Right For You?

If you have sensitive skin or eyes, own a hot tub, dislike the smell of chlorine, or struggle with pH balance, we recommend considering bromine. However, it's important to take into account that bromine degrades more rapidly in sunlight and is pricier compared to chlorine. If you are unwilling to pay the higher cost of bromine or have a pool exposed to a lack of shade, sticking with chlorine or exploring other alternatives might be more suitable.

Can I Switch From Chlorine To Bromine?

Transitioning from chlorine to bromine is a simple process. All you need to do is discontinue the use of chlorine and start utilizing bromine tablets. If you have a chlorinator or tablet feeder, it's advisable to replace it to prevent any interaction between the two chemicals.

What’s The Ideal Level Of Bromine?

To maintain proper bromine levels, it is recommended to keep them between 2 and 4 ppm. For spas, the ideal range is slightly lower, ranging from 1 to 3 ppm.
