For any pool filter (sand, cartridge or DE) that requires a back-mounted pressure gauge, the Aqua Select® Pressure Gauge will serve as a suitable replacement piece. This gauge accurately measures the pressure inside your filter tank, which steadily increases as the filter takes in more and more debris.
Tip: When the pressure of your filter has increased by 8-10 psi from your starting pressure, it's time to backwash your filter or clean your cartridge.
