Union Ball Valve - 1½" FIP to FIP

This female threaded 2-way valve makes it easy to clean out pump baskets or disconnect plumbing. You can turn the handle of the ball valve to start or stop the flow of water through the plumbing; a ball inside rotates a full 90º to either allow unrestricted flow or block it completely.

The union aspect means the valve has a detachable coupling. You can disconnect one end of the valve without twisting or messing with the rest of the piping, making it much easier to access and service nearby equipment.
