The Sun2Solar® XD1 Pool Heater is easy to install and requires no gas or heat connections. You can add weeks to the swimming season by using the sun's free energy and connecting multiple heaters to increase the heating efficiency. These pool heaters can be used with above-ground pools.
The Bypass Kit (not included) is required for pools using 1 HP pump or higher or on any in-ground application. This allows you to divert water away from the heater at night or on cool days, as well as control the volume of flow (the slower the water passes through the heater, the more effective it will heat the water). Using any solar heating device during cold temperatures effectively cools your pool water.
