Rx Clear® Luster Media For Sand Filters (Various Types)

Improve your sand filter’s performance and enjoy your swimming season with crystal clear pool water using the Rx Clear® Black Luster Media. With the power of activated charcoal, the black style luster media reduces the smell of chlorine in your pool, keeping your water fresh all season. This eco-friendly swimming pool sand replacement filters particles down to 3-5 microns, out performing traditional filter sand. Luster media requires fewer backwashes, retaining their filtration ability longer which means less maintenance from you. At the end of the season these filter balls are reusable; simply remove the luster filter balls, add to a laundry safe bag, and toss in the washing machine.

Luster media can last up to 5 years, with one box replacing 50 lbs of sand. To get the most out of your luster media and extend the life of your sand filter, the use of a pea gravel base is recommended for this product.

Note: Clarifiers or flocculants should not be used with this product.
