To prevent your winter pool cover from blowing off, it depends on whether you have an inground or an above ground pool.
For inground pools, we recommend using Buffalo Blizzard® Blizzard Blocks. Place the Blizzard Blocks around the edge of your pool cover, fill them to about ¾ full with water, and snap on the lid.
For above ground pools, we recommend the Buffalo Blizzard® Winch and Cable. Simply stretch your winter cover across the pool, and thread the cable through the grommets. Then, insert the cable into the winch and tighten. If you live in a particularly windy area, add cover clips in order to help hold your cover down.
