Rx Clear® Radiant Sand Filter System, Pump & Luster Kits

This filter is designed to handle the filtration needs of many of today's pools. It provides an efficient, easy-to-use, simple-to-install, and easy-to-operate system to keep pool water clean and sparkling. This filter is powered by a one-piece blow-molded tank with a skirt/base for the filter and an Extreme Force Pump. It includes a top mount, 6-position multi-port valve, and a high-capacity sand bed to catch more debris and extend filter cycles.

Information on Luster Filter Media

The included black luster media is economically friendly and lightweight. Made with absorption and optimal filtering in mind the luster media can filter down to 3-5 microns while the traditional sand filter can filter down to 20 microns. This media only needs to be replaced every 5 years and is similar to charcoal as it absorbs all the chlorine smell and taste from your pool's water.

Note: This product requires a pea gravel base. Layer pea gravel above laterals to cover them. Clarifiers should not be used with this product.

Instructions for Use:

1. Open your filter
2. Empty any media/sand from the tank and clean the tank thoroughly
3. Fill the filter with Rx Clear Luster - 1 Box of Luster equals 50 lbs of sand
4. Close your filter
5. Backwash for 30 seconds
6. Start filtering
