Rx Clear® Radiant Sand Filter System, Pump & Luster Kits

The Rx Clear® Radiant Sand Filter is an efficient system that is both easy to operate and simple to install for above-ground pools. It will keep your pool water clean all season. This filter is powered by a 1-piece blow-molded tank with a skirt/base for the filter as well as a Extreme Force Pump.

Information on Luster Filter Media

Replace your regular sand with Rx Clear® Luster Filter Media in your pool's sand filter. Reusable, eco-friendly, and made from 100% polyethylene, these tiny balls will last several pool seasons while filtering particles down to 3-5 microns. Keep your pool clean with less backwashing with this non-toxic filter media.

Note: A pea gravel base is recommended with the use of this product. Layer pea gravel above laterals to cover them. Clarifiers should not be used with this product. Clarifiers should not be used with this product. 

Instructions for Use:

1. Open your filter
2. Empty any media/sand from the tank and clean the tank thoroughly
3. Fill the filter with Rx Clear Luster. 1 Box of Luster equals 50 lbs of sand
4. Close your filter
5. Backwash for 30 seconds
6. Start filtering
